- April 2017, A summary of the Bingo Project chapter on online bingo regulation in the EU was published by Totally Gaming (an industry website).
- April 2017, A summary of an interview with Kate Bedford and Donal Casey (Co-I) on online bingo regulation, based on the final report, was published by Calvin Ayre (one of the world’s largest gambling news publishers, with c400,000 monthly website visits).
- April 2017, Kate Bedford was invited to Chair a Policy-UK forum on A Way Forward for Gambling in the UK: Best Practice, Emerging Innovations and Future Frameworks. (though unable to take up the invitation).
- April 2017, Interview with an industry blog about the implications of the ESRC-funded research for online bingo. Available here.
- January 2017, Policy briefs on bingo regulation in Brazil, Canada, England and Wales, and the European Union launched, intended for regulators and policymakers.
- January 2017, Luiza Jobim and Toni Williams wrote a letter to the President of the Senate commission working on gambling legalisation in Brazil, referring the final report and policy briefs.

- 2016, Launch of the Bingo Project’s final report at a conference on socio-legal approaches to gambling regulation at the University of Kent, involving 27 invited speakers (17 from outside the UK). Publicity resulted in three radio appearances (Kent, Sussex, and the syndicated Mark Forrest Show, broadcast on 39 stations and reaching an estimated 1.3 million listeners per week), and a feature in the Times Higher (Bingo! Game gives researchers lessons in how to control gambling (Matthew Reisz).Attendees included the Bingo Association, Responsible Gambling Trust.
- 2016, An accessible summary of the Bingo Project’s findings published in Bingo Life (a trade magazine).
- 2016, Luiza Jobim and Toni Williams presented two papers to the 2nd Brazilian Gaming Congress (Brasília, DF, Brazil), attended by gambling industry specialists from around the world: Responsible Gambling in Brazil: Lessons to Brazil from a Comparative Project and “Bingos in Brazil: burden or legacy? Critical reflections and contributions to the regulation of contemporary gaming.” ("Bingos no Brasil: fardo ou legado? Reflexões críticas e contribuições para a regulação dos jogos na atualidade").
- 2015, Kate Bedford participated in a Virtual Roundtable on Gaming Law, alongside commercial gambling lawyers. The conversation was edited and published by Corporate LiveWire
- 2015, Kate Bedford presented draft findings on the England and Wales case study to the Society for Study of Gambling (London), a mostly non-academic society including representatives from industry, local and national government, and gambling treatment providers (e.g. the Responsible Gambling Trust; Gordon Moody House).
- 2015, Kate Bedford and Toni Williams hosted a public debate in London on bingo regulation in the UK; featuring a presentation of research findings by Kate Bedford on the England and Wales case study, with contributions from Miles Baron (Chief Executive Officer of the Bingo Association), and Helen Venn (Programme Director at the Gambling Commission).Other attendees included lawyers, representatives from working men’s clubs; gambling treatment providers; local government regulators; and members of Labour’s shadow team for culture media and sport.
- 2015, An article on the Bingo Project featured in ‘Britain in 2015’, the ESRC's annual flagship magazine (pp.106 to 109). This piece was requested by the editors as the feature article on culture media and sport.

- 2014, Expert opinion piece on the cut in bingo duty announced by Chancellor George Osbourne. The piece was disseminated via the University of Kent's Twitter feed as well as via The Bingo Project’s own Twitter account.
