Refunds on course closure

Refund of tuition fees in the unlikely event that your course is closed

The University has a policy in place to refund tuition fees and other relevant costs to our students and to provide compensation where necessary in the unlikely event that you are no longer able to preserve continuation of study. This will take into account the circumstances of the course closure and the individual needs of the student.

If you have paid your tuition fees, you may be entitled to a refund based on the following rules of withdrawal / course closure.

For undergraduate students funded by the Student Loans Company:

The Student Loans Company has three triggers points (at the start of each term) which determine whether fees will be paid. If you are in attendance on any of these trigger dates your fees will be paid to us in full for that particular term.

For all other students:

Fees will be reduced on the number of months completed, pro-rated against the total months allocated to the year.
