ABI CLARKE
Abi Clarke is a stand-up comedian and presenter from Bristol who took to the internet in 2020 due to lockdown and achieved remarkable success. In her first year online, she amassed over a million followers across Instagram and TikTok, and now boasts a large following of 367k followers on Instagram, 893k followers on TikTok and 590k subscribers on YouTube. Abi was named as one of the eleven comedy stars of the internet by The Independent, and has had her viral sketches shared by the likes of E! News, Buzzfeed, LadBible, Good Morning Britain, and BBC One.
First and foremost a stand-up, Abi has made swift progress on the circuit. 2022 saw Abi selected for the prestigious Comedy Reserve showcase at the Edinburgh Fringe, and she now performs at some of the UK’s most prestigious comedy clubs, as well as supporting Russell Kane on tour.
Abi recently hosted the hugely popular It’s… Wagatha Christie podcast for BBC 5Live/Sounds. She subsequently hosted the youth-focused podcast Pinned for BBC Sounds, and Eurovision Described for BBC Radio 2.
Abi’s recent TV credits include Dating No Filter (Sky Max), The Apprentice: You’re Fired (BBC Two), the Emily Atack Show (ITV2), Comedy Central Live and hosted additional content for Question Team (Dave) and Comic Relief.
DANE BUCKLEY
Dane Buckley is the world’s only Irish, Indian, gay comedian… probably. An award-winning comedian and writer, he delivers his comedy effortlessly with cheeky charm and camp mischief.
Dane burst onto the comedy circuit in 2022, making a name for himself by winning Gong Shows (Beat the Frog World Series, The Comedy Store’s King Gong, Top Secret’s Gong, to name a few) and has been a finalist in LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year (2022) and 2Northdown’s New Act competition (2022).
Whether it’s stories of his early years – Irish mammies, Indian grannies, and rebel priests – or his career in social care – chasing pensioners through Paris or delivering a baby impromptu – audiences across the UK are enjoying Dane’s hilarious and heart-warming tales.
Dane has supported Rosie Jones, Tom Allen and My Therapist Ghosted Me on tour. He recently filmed for Comedy Central Live, and is a regular on the club and festival circuit.Dane co-hosts the podcast Welcome to Hell. It debuted in the top 10 charts of both Apple & Spotify & has gained a loyal following.
