We have award-winning career guidance at the University so make sure you use it! It's available to you from the moment you start at Kent and for up to three years after you graduate.

Support for taught postgraduates

If you’re studying for a taught master’s degree, you can sign up to the Global Skills Award to improve your skills and chances of getting your dream job after your Master’s. The Global Skills Award will broaden your understanding of global issues and current affairs, as well as many of the graduate attributes top graduate employers are looking for. The programme runs for six-months and is completely free.

Support for research postgraduates

If you’re a research postgraduate you can sign up for the Researcher Development Programme. The programme will develop your skills as a researcher and ensure you’re not only highly-qualified but employable at the end of your research too.
