Nidal is a full-time Postgraduate Research Student studying a PhD in Higher Education at the Centre for Studies in Higher Education (CSHE). His research focuses on continuous academic development in conflict and post-conflict contexts. In 2007, he got a BA in English Language and Literature, then studied for an MA in English Linguistics at Aleppo University, Syria, where he worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Higher Institute of Languages between 2009 and 2012. After the crisis in his country, he left for Turkey and studied for an MA in English Language Teaching at Gaziantep University.
