During the summer term, come along to meet a therapy dog and take part in other activities on the Canterbury campus in Nexus, Templeman Library.
Join Coco, a certified Pets as Therapy dog, at 15:30 every Wednesday from 8 May (except 29 May).
From therapy dogs and art exhibits to book swaps and mindful colouring spaces, there's all sorts on offer at our Templeman (Canterbury) and Drill Hall (Medway) libraries to support your wellbeing.
Therapy dogs will return in the summer term each Wednesday from 8 May to 3 July (except Wednesday 29 May). Head to Nexus to pet Coco, who is certified Pets as Therapy dog.
We also have free non-academic books as well as e-books and audiobooks! Check out the ‘Love to Read’ or ‘Wellbeing and self-help’ collections.

We have signed up with Umii to make it even easier for you to make new friends at Kent. Create a profile including what you’re studying and your interests and Umii will match you with other students who you might get on well with.
Only registered Kent students can sign up, so you know you're speaking to a verified Kent student.

Take some time out from your busy schedule to relax in our Chill Out Room on Floor 1, Block D. It's open 09:00 - 21:00 providing a quiet space away from your studies. If you're using a student PC don't forget to save your work and use the 'Take a break' app.

The Wellbeing Student Advisory Board (WSAB) is a unique collaborative initiative between Kent Union and the University of Kent that aims to improve our approach to student wellbeing and ensure our work is impactful and accessible to all students.
The board consists of 20 enthusiastic students from a diverse range of courses, years of study, and backgrounds who are passionate about shaping student wellbeing at Kent.
