Student Success Continue and Complete

Continue and Complete

What is Continue and Complete?

These programs are designed to run alongside structural changes through Diversity Mark or reflective teaching.

Continue and complete looks at supporting students from our APP target groups who in the first teaching week of university have attendance lower than 72%. We've identified that this creates a potential risk for retention.

In line with our APP targets, we aim to work with schools to provide tailored support to academics and support teams to share data and best practice for the institution to support these students throughout their degree.

What are we doing?

Continue and Complete (C in C) can look and feel different depending on different school approaches. It may include Academic Advising and contact within engagement and support teams within each school.

How can you get involved?

If you'd like to get involved with Continue and Complete and would like some support from the student success team. You can contact your local student success delivery team who will be able to guide and support you through the specifics of the programme.

How does this make a difference?

We will evaluate the impact after the pilot year of 2024-25. Our hope is that with early intervention, students who want to continue their degree have the support and resources needed.

We will update after the pilot year has completed.
