When Jakob Ingebrigtsen won the 5000m. Not the 1500m!

I am two-time world champion, one in juniors in Sardinia then my most recent in Argentina in adult female.   

What is your number one sporting or academic goal this year on the Sports Scholarship Scheme? 

To be a successful medallist in the European ITFU championships this October. Then to increase my speed as a physical improvement.   

What was your favourite moment from the Paris Olympics this summer? 

My favourite moment in the Paris Olympics was when watching the Olympic rock climbing. I find it so incredible to watch their strength, balance and thought process through their event. But what made it so special was seeing the reaction of GBs rock climber when he won gold. The pure emotion and shock show's his whole story and tells everyone that with work and goals you can defeat the believed impossible.

Unfortunately, due to training and competition commitments I was unable to watch the Games this year.

When Noah Lyles won the 100 metre sprint.

What is your number one sporting or academic goal this year on the Sports Scholarship Scheme? 

To either achieve my 3rd dan blackbelt or win first place in a different respective style of my sport.

What was your favourite moment from the Paris Olympics this summer? 

Yusuf Dikec winning silver in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event at 51 years old and as a ‘hobby’ very much shows no matter how old or dedicated you are to your sport you can still succeed.
