Please ensure you bring your Kent One Card (students and staff) or Kent Sport membership card (public) to each session. You will need your card to check in at reception and to gain entry through the turnstiles.

Sports Centre indoor sports facilities

Christmas holidays opening hours
In the lead up to the Christmas break, the Sports Centre opening hours will vary slightly on the following days:
- Monday 16 December 7am to 7pm
- Tuesday 17 December 7am to 7pm
- Wednesday 18 December 7am to 7pm
- Thursday 19 December 7am to 6pm
The Sports Centre will close on Friday 20 December and reopen on Thursday 2 January 2025.

Women and non-binary only gym hours
In collaboration with Kent Union, Kent Sport is continuing to support the women and non-binary only gym sessions at the Canterbury campus, giving these specific groups the confidence to go into the gym and exercise in a non-judgemental space.
These sessions will run weekly at the following times;
- Tuesdays between 1000-1200
- Thursdays between 1700-1900
Please note: Last entry to the gym is 30 minutes before the gym closure times as stated above.
