Use Matlab and GNU Octave functions for psychophysical research
Functionality
Psychophysics Toolbox Version 3 (PTB-3) is a free set of Matlab and GNU Octave functions for vision and neuroscience research. The software package adds precise stimulus display to the Matlab and Octave application on Macintosh, Linux and Windows computers. This makes it easy to synthesize and show accurately controlled visual and auditory stimuli and to interact with the observer.
Tips for using this tool at Kent
- PsychToolbox-3 is used with Matlab which is supported on the University’s High Performance Computing (HPC) service. To get started, contact the IT Service Desk.
