Jane joined Tizard in January 2018 as a Research Assistant and is involved in the research project "Evaluating the impact of communication passports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in adult social care".
Jane has worked in a number of social care settings in both adult and children's services. Before joining Tizard, she led a team in the delivery of a number of services to children and families affected by disability, while coordinating outreach services, short breaks, summer activity schemes and emergency referrals.
Jane has a keen interest in positive behaviour support and the importance of communication to improve the quality of a person's life.
