- Dr Nick Gore
Dr Gore is a Reader, Clinical Psychologist, Behaviour Analyst and Researcher in the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disability. He is currently co-head of Tizard Centre. He began work at Tizard in 2007 motivated by the Centre's commitment to support quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through high quality research and innovative teaching programmes.
He has held a variety of teaching and consultancy roles and has completed and developed research that aims to increase both the evidence base for supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actual use of this in practice. He has had several split posts and secondments with the NHS working as a clinical psychologist to support both children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Nick has lectured, convened, tutored and supervised across the majority of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as supervising a number of PhD students.
Nick has supervised a number of PhD students to successful completion. He currently supervises several PhD students whose work focuses on PBS, early intervention, caregivers and children with disabilities.
