Pattamanan Poonseripipat

Supervisors: Dr Carolyn Pedwell and Dr Triona Fitton

After working in a state-owned telecommunication company in Thailand for several years, Pattamanan applied for the country’s scholarship scheme to recruit and develop academic staff in higher education and received a grant for her postgraduate studies in sociology. Pattamanan completed her Master’s degree at the University of Kent and is currently pursuing a PhD. 

Pattamanan's areas of interest are digital culture and philanthropy. She is exploring these subjects in her PhD, which investigates e-philanthropy in Thailand through the lens of affect theory.
