- Katie Goodbun
Lecturer in Social and Developmental Psychology
Katie's research interests lie in the field of intergroup processes, implicit group theories, development of mechanisms underpinning generalised prejudice, development of social dominance orientation, impact of creativity and the arts in young children and their families.
More specifically, her research considers the mechanisms which underpin prejudice reduction (including empathy, self-efficacy, out-group trust and intergroup anxiety) and how they relate to more positive intergroup relations.
In addition, her work with the Anne Frank Trust includes evaluating the impact of prejudice reduction interventions delivered in secondary schools around the U.K.
