Dr Jim Everett collected this extremely prestigious prize at a ceremony accompanied by very proud colleagues from The School of Psychology at Kent.
Dr Jim Everett collected his Leverhulme Early Researcher’s prize at a ceremony at Plaisterers’ Hall, London. The prize is awarded to researchers at an early stage of their careers, whose work has had international impact and whose future research career is ‘exceptionally promising’. Awarded for work on ‘experimental social psychology; moral psychology; experimental philosophy’ the prize is worth £100,000, to be spent on further research.
‘All of us at Kent Psychology are so proud of you Jim, you’re a superstar!’ tweeted Heather Ferguson who attended the ceremony along with and Robbie Sutton from the School of Psychology.
The other recipients awarded prizes were Jennifer Cook, Tobias Hauser, Patricia Lockwood and Netta Weinstein. ‘So honoured to be amongst your company’ Everett tweeted the next day.
