A special issue of the online journal Frontiers in Political Science focusing on political trust has just been published.
The special issue was co-edited by Senior Lecturer in British and Comparative Politics, Dr Ben Seyd, and contains eight peer-reviewed articles that address one of these key questions:
- How should we conceive of trust and distrust in politics, and are there any other conditions that need identification and measurement?
- What are the key factors contributing to citizens’ trust judgments?
- What are the consequences of trust for effective governance?
The special issue of the journal Frontiers in Political Science also includes an Editors introduction, which outlines the contribution of each article and identifies key avenues for further research on trust.
