As of 20th February 2024, our location is the University of Kent campus – Woodlands, Giles Lane, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 7LR, next the Medical Centre.
Annual Membership for the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy is currently £35. This includes an initial 90 minute assessment with PCIT Clinical Lead which will determine how best you may benefit from membership.
To become a member, please complete our Enquiry Form or phone us on 01227 824775 and our Administrative Co-ordinator will be in touch.
PCIT membership enables people with Parkinson’s to have full access to all the services that PCIT currently provides.
An initial 90 minute assessment costs £35 which, should you choose to join, also includes your first year of PCIT membership. The assessment enables us to create a person-centred plan of therapy for you. Therapy sessions now have a fixed pricing system: 1-1 sessions are £35 and group classes/session are charged at £10 per person.
Whilst PCIT are committed to keeping our prices as affordable as possible, we recognise that some members may be experiencing extra financial challenges. If this applies to you, please feel free to talk to our Administrative Coordinator, Clare Walker, in complete confidence. We now have a small concessionary fund available and in certain circumstances, may be able to assist you with the cost of therapies.
If you would like to have any therapies you will need to see our Clinical Specialist first, here’s how to get started:
Click the icon to complete our New Enquiry Form and your details will be reviewed.
Our Administrative Coordinator will get in touch to book a face-to-face assessment to discuss your condition and devise a personalised care plan.
Once your face-to-face assessment is complete and you have decided, with our Clinical Lead, what is to be included in your person-centred plan of therapy, you can sign up for membership and start booking sessions with our Reception Team.
As of 1st August 2023, charges for PCIT therapies and sessions are now fixed. 1-1 sessions are charged at *£35 and group session participation costs £10 per person.
(*Counselling is charged at £45 per session)
All members wishing to book therapies must initially complete a full assessment with our Clinical Specialist. Fill out our New Enquiry form to get started.
We understand that some cancellations may be unavoidable as Parkinson’s disease is a very unpredictable condition. The more notice you can
give us will enable our Reception Team to re-book the cancelled slot.
We always have a warm welcome for visitors, please feel free to drop in and see us. The entire team look forward to welcoming and supporting you.
