About
Jane joined the University of Kent in 2004 as Deputy Director of Finance and was subsequently appointed to the role of Director of Finance in 2009, becoming Chief Financial Officer in 2020.
She has strategic responsibility for a number of the University’s Professional Services including Finance, Commercial and Estates, Information Services (incorporating IT and Library) and University Operations (including Health & Safety and the Project Management Office).
Jane is currently the Executive Group sponsor for the University’s Organising for Success project and is responsible for strategic planning across Professional Services, ensuring this aligns with and complements the broader academic and institutional planning.
She is also a Trustee Director of the Superannuation Arrangements of the Universities of London (SAUL) and an employer representative of the SAUL Negotiating Committee.
