NHS England director of primary care to give university lecture

Dr Arvind Madan, Director of Primary Care and Deputy National Medical Director for NHS England, will give this year’s Centre for Health Services Studies Open Lecture at the University of Kent on 18 April.

The lecture, which is free and open to all, is entitled General Practice forward view and a vision for the future of primary care. It takes place at 18:30 at the University’s Grimond Lecture Theatre 1 at its Canterbury campus.

Dr Madan is a pioneer of using new technologies and redesigned initiatives to improve outcomes across care boundaries.

The Centre for Health Services Studies is part of the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research.
