Plans for a new University building have been made available on Canterbury City Council’s planning portal.
The new building will provide around 7,900 square metres of new teaching, academic, student and social space.
The development at the Canterbury campus for Kent Business School and the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science, will feature offices and open access student workspaces. It will also include group breakout areas, an atrium containing an informal learning area and a café.
The building will also feature state-of-the-art IT facilities, including a live trading room, with a link to Bloomberg, providing students with real-time trading information.
