Enjoying art, culture and research at the heart of the campus

The Templeman Gallery is a dedicated exhibition space in the Templeman Library at the University of Kent's Canterbury campus (map). The gallery is located in A Block, Floor 1. Entry is free and exhibitions are accessible during the standard library opening hours (Templeman Library opening times).

  • An exhibition celabrating Hopping in Kent
  • An exhibition celebrating the completion of cataloguing of the David Drummond Pantomime collection
  • An exhibition about the history of fundraising in the UK told through the archives of the Craigmyle Fundraising Consultancy archives

Interested in exhibiting?

We encourage exhibitions, displays and installations that can:

  • Showcase unique and distinctive collections
  • Spread awareness of University output, including research, practice as research and teaching, in any discipline
  • Raise awareness of the University community’s activities, including student societies
  • Strengthen links with the local community, schools and other education institutions

Submitting a proposal

Our panel considers proposals once a term.  Fill in the Proposal Form noting the submission deadline, and send it to specialcollections@kent.ac.uk.
