A collection of Stanley Franklin artwork, including just under 2500 originals and over 13000 rough sketches.
The collection is comprised of material donated to the BCA by Ken Layson of the Daily Mirror and Franklin's brother, as well as a loan from Andrew Brown.
Most of the collection is uncatalogued, so please email us at cartoons@kent.ac.uk if you'd like more information. We also hold a collection of cartoon newspaper cuttings of Stanley Franklin's work. These can be found on the BCA catalogue.
