Areas of focus: Sustainable Innovation

Dr Dan Wright brings over a decade of expertise in sustainability, research, and innovation to the Kent Business School MBA Advisory Board. As Head of Sustainability and Energy Engineering at 2gether Support Solutions, a subsidiary of East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, Dan is responsible for developing and implementing a forward-looking sustainability strategy. His work in NHS emissions calculations and data tooling has earned national recognition, including consecutive finalist placements for the AHSN and NHS Confederation Innovate Award Net Zero Innovation of the Year in 2022 and 2023.

An alumnus of the University of Kent School of Psychology (BSc Hons), Dan also holds advanced degrees in energy demand of the built environment (PhD, MRes) and environment and sustainability with GIS (MSc).

In 2022, he founded WrightLabs, a solutions consultancy dedicated to data-driven decision-making and tools to enhance data engagement and understanding. Dan’s passion for entrepreneurship and innovation drives his commitment to creating impactful, sustainable solutions.
