Areas of focus: Wellness and Leadership
For the past 30 years, best selling author and Kent MBA alumna, Dr Julia Jones been studying neuroscience, psychology and physiology and showing people how to apply the science to boost their own brain and body biology. Her teaching focuses on how your brain works, and how to use simple tricks and techniques (now known as biohacks) to optimise your ancient in-built biological systems. This maximises your ability to enjoy lifelong wellness. It can also help you achieve high performance.
Her client base has always been very diverse, ranging from individuals to Olympic squads, celebrities, business leaders, high achievers, and English Premiership Football Teams. She was first shown ‘biohacking’ techniques during a visit to a US Navy base in California in the early 1990s. They were using music to influence the ancient, evolutionary, biological responses, reducing anxiety in high pressure situations, boosting endurance, maintaining motivation and improving sleep.
Today, her company, Holidity, is the first company to provide affordable daily coaching support to all customers who go through their ‘Habit Hacking’ programme, which Julia believes is necessary because most people (due to their behavioural genomics) will not be able to successfully embed sustainable habit change without human support.
