After graduating from university with a degree in engineering & applied sciences, Peter entered the commercial business environment, primarily working inside international blue-chip companies. His career has traversed across sales, marketing and business operations leadership roles. His latest role as director global sales support at Cummins Power Systems, focuses on Sales Force Automation which aims to enrich the sales team’s customer interaction using the latest web-based technology.
As a business leader within Cummins Kent office, Peter is responsible for ensuring deliverance of the business objectives aligned to the company’s business values: Integrity; Diversity & Inclusion; Caring; Excellence and Teamwork. Peter sponsors the corporate social responsibility programme, which has given him the opportunity to work with some amazing local community partners across education, environment & equal opportunity initiatives. He also plays a role in developing a talented workforce which has brought him into proximity with various educational establishments, especially the business school at Kent University. Many of our high potential employees have joined the MBA programme and as a result, he regularly supports the strategic marketing modules through guest speaking and setting business challenges to help contextualise course theory through practical real-life examples.
Peter has been an active member of the KBS advisory board since 2013 and is really looking forward to a continued contribution to the Business School through the membership on the International Advisory Board.
