About

Laura Bounds MBE is owner of Kent Crisps, Kentish Oils & Condiments and A Little Bit, all of which are Kent based food businesses.  Laura was born & raised in Kent, before going to University to complete a BA and Masters Degree. On returning to the county, Laura joined a fresh produce wholesale business, which was where her love for local food & drink first began. Her involvement with Kent Crisps & Kentish Oils was initially as Commercial Director, playing a key part in the growth of the company in early years, before taking on the businesses herself in 2017. A Little Bit, which produces a range of condiments using fresh herbs, joined Laura’s portfolio in 2019.

Over recent years, Laura has developed Kent Crisps into a globally recognised
brand, exporting to over 10 countries worldwide.  Her passion is in showcasing all that Kent has to offer, including its world class food and drink, as well as the
landmarks & landscapes that are unique to the county. This is reflected throughout all of her businesses, with local produce at the heart of all of the products. Laura is an Export Champion for the Department of International Trade, Kent Ambassador, Produced in Kent Ambassador, mentor for Kent Business School and was awarded an MBE in 2020 for services to international trade.
