The role of Quality Assurance, Accreditation & Rankings Manager focusses on all aspects of quality assurance for Kent Business School programmes and modules, on both a strategic and operational level – strategically in ensuring the programmes offered support the mission and vision of the School and operationally in ensuring that timetabling, the work allocation model and associated programme and module information accurately reflect the day-to-day purpose of the School.
Lyndsay works closely with academic and professional services colleagues regarding programme approval and delivery and is also responsible for the operational support for all KBS accreditations at both a School and programme level. This involves the acquisition, analysis and provision of data and reports and the ongoing review and maintenance of up-to-date information and statistics in support of the accreditation process. The allocation of teaching to postgraduate research and hourly paid lecturers forms a key part of the role and links with the overall timetabling remit. Day-to-day duties revolve around the provision of offices and workspace, overseeing room bookings and updating the online directory.
Lyndsay holds an MSc in Professional Practice and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
Lyndsay has previously worked in the School of Arts and Centre for Flexible Learning at Kent and in the private sector within the insurance industry in both the UK and the Channel Islands.
