- Steve Robinson
Steve is a Senior Lecturer in Business and Head of Undergraduate Recruitment & Admissions at Kent Business School. He graduated from the University of Exeter with an MA (Distinction) in Finance and Investment where he was also awarded the Brown, Shipley and Co. prize for the top graduating student. After working in the City as an equity analyst, he moved into education by taking a PGCE at the Institute of Education, UCL, University of London.
Prior to joining Kent, Steve taught and lectured in London, Abu Dhabi and, Dubai. His previous position was as Head of Higher of Education Programmes for the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF).
Steve is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and was awarded the Kent Union Teaching Award for Best Teacher at the University in 2016.
Steve lectures and teaches upon European Business and International Business modules on the undergraduate, postgraduate and executive programmes. As well as an academic programme developer Steve also acts as a reviewer for a number of academic textbook publishers. His main lecturing interests lies in the European business environment, European business cultures and the impact of EU policies on business strategy and operations.
As Head of Undergraduate Recruitment & Admissions at Kent Business School, Steve has overall responsibility for undergraduate admissions including UCAS applications, open days, applicant days and Clearing.
