Kent Business School (KBS) with the help of Centre for Logistics and Heuristic Optimisation (CLHO) will host the Operational Research (OR61) Annual Conference, now in its 61st year.
OR61 is co-chaired by Professor Said Salhi and Dr Kathy Kotiadis from Kent Business School. This year’s plenary speakers include:
- Professor Erhan Erkut, Vice Rector, MEF University, Istanbul, Turkey
- Professor Grazia Speranza, IFORS President and former EURO president. Professor of OR, University of Brescia, Italy
- Professor Panos Pardalos, Distinguished Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering, University of Florida, USA
‘The conference promotes debate and future thinking to focus the OR profession on how it needs to evolve to deliver benefits to business, the economy and wider society.’
