About Medway

Whether you prefer a smaller, close knit environment, or if you're hoping to commute to University from elsewhere in Kent or London, Medway is a perfect environment to study in with Kent Business School.

KBS at Medway is based on the Pembroke site. This puts Kent Business School at the heart of the Medway Campus, a former Royal Naval base combining historic and new buildings. Whilst keeping the integrity of the rich history our campus offers, you will benefit from being closer to the Drill Hall Library, the Hub and our student accommodation Pier Quays. Off campus, there is lots to do in the historic town of Rochester and nearby Chatham, with cinemas, theatres and good shopping. London is just under an hour away by train.

We offer our BSc Business and Management programme at Medway, which is the perfect way to start your business journey. Business and Management at Kent was ranked 25th out of 118 in The Guardian University Guide 2024 so this programme is amongst the best in the country. As well as this we also offer many postgraduate courses at Medway, which allow you to gain recognised qualifications to take the next step in your career. Location is key and at Medway we are lucky to be on the coast and surrounded by countryside, giving you a chance to study in beautiful scenery and get out and get some headspace. This is all while being nearby to London, which is perfect for commuters, or those wishing to expand their network into London, so you can truly get the best of both worlds.
