Miarizaka’s aspiration is to address the rural development challenges in Madagascar through scientific and market-based solutions. With a background in engineering, economics, and management related to agricultural and environmental sciences, he is driven to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Madagascar and its neighbouring countries in the sub-region.

Top achievements

  1. Building rural roads that enable producers to expand market opportunities in central Madagascar, particularly near the Anjozorobe-Angavo Forest Corridor.
  2. Providing technical training and support to enhance farmers’ production capacity.
  3. Monitoring the implementation and execution of key World Bank Group (WBG) projects related to agriculture and rural development across Madagascar.

What attracted you to the MBA programme at Kent Business School and why?

The triple-accredited status of the Business School and the location being not far from London.

What are your motivations for undertaking an MBA

I am looking forward for a catalysed career development.

What are your future aspirations?

By pursuing a master’s programme in Business Administration, I aim to empower rural communities along the value chain, enabling them to access international market opportunities beyond the continent. The prestigious Chevening Scholarship, in conjunction with the triple-accredited Kent Business School, will equip me with the networks and resources necessary to realise these transformative changes.
