Digital culture has a much longer history than many people think. I love talking with computer scientists and engineers about computers of the past, both real and imaginary, to try and think of new ways to live with computers today.
I am interested in socio-technical aspects of cyber security and privacy, cybercrime, human behaviours online, and more generally people's life in the cyber-physical world, including their use of multimedia data online.
The Network aims to consolidate digital-oriented research and teaching at Kent University, from game design and work on artificial intelligence through to cybersecurity and digital ethics.
