Helena Power completed a BA in History at the University of Greenwich in 2015, and an MA by Research in History at the University of Kent in 2019. She returned to Kent in 2021 to undertake a PhD.
Helena’s research interests encompass the cultural memory of the First World War. Her PhD focusses on the representation of the war in the digital age, examining the ways modern technology has changed how the conflict is represented and remembered, how our contemporary environment affects our interpretation the past, and the evolving relationship between academic and public history.
