Guide to audio visual technology in lecture theatres and seminar rooms at Canterbury and Medway
Equipment in most Canterbury and Medway spaces
- Projection equipment and 'show sound', appropriate to the space
- A lectern with teaching PC, DVD player and power and ports for a laptop
- Lecture capture using KentPlayer (Panopto): PC screen and audio is captured. Most also have a webcam (or better) for video capture if selected
- Many teaching spaces have hearing assistive technology
Additional in lecture theatres
- A document camera (visualiser / digital OHP) which is recordable in KentPlayer
- Most lecture theatres have a lapel mic for voice reinforcement, which can be selected for KentPlayer

Equipment loans: what you can borrow
If you need extra equipment for a particular room, this is what we have available:
- document camera (visualiser)
- laptop
- portable voice reinforcement
- webcam with tripod.

- Go to room SE03, Cornwallis Octagon, Canterbury
- Open Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.00, closed 13.00 - 14.00
- Other times may be possible on request
