Prof. Zhang is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Science, Technology and Society, Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development (CASTED). CASTED is a research arm of the Ministry of Science and Technology, P.R.China. Prof. Zhang has established expertise in scientific policy, ethics of science and technology, risk studies, migrant worker research and social work. She has published extensively on these topics and her research has fed into the policy making of the Ministry of Science and Technology in China.
