Think Kent: Global Showcase (TKGS) involves series of exciting events and academic activities showcasing current internationalisation and global engagement relating to a specific region or set of countries, that is being carried out by the University of Kent both in the UK and abroad
This was an online event connecting Kent alumni, partners and both current and future students from Hong Kong.
The event gave opportunity to catch up on updates from the University of Kent and hear about future plans. Moreover, we had members our alumni group in Hong Kong, sharing their experiences of Kent and leading a Panel discussion and Q&A with you, the audience.

Our current circumstances mean that we can’t travel at the moment, but . . . we can still keep in touch, support and learn from our global communities!
Activities and events across a range of major cities and locations in Asia including Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkok, New Delhi and Kuala Lumpur. Related on-campus events also took place in the UK as part of the showcase.
Education is built on relationships and collaboration in exchanging knowledge and ideas. . . . We learn together, not separately.
Celebrating a range of European-related activity at our Canterbury and Medway campuses as well as events across a range of major cities in Europe including Paris and Brussels.
The Think Kent Global Showcase activities build on Kent’s long history of working closely with alumni, partners, friends and future students of the University, who are integral to the University’s success and impact in different parts of the world.
The University of Kent celebrated a range of Africa-related activity as part of the Think Kent: Global Showcase. Events will take place at our Canterbury and Medway campuses as well as within countries in Africa.
Each Global Showcase celebrates a specific region or set of countries and follows a variety of exciting activities from across our students, staff, alumni and international partners across the globe and at home.
