What is RPIX?
RPIX (Retail Price Index) in the UK the RPIX is a measure of inflation published monthly by the Office of National Statistics. It measures the change in the cost of a representative sample of retail goods and services and is widely used. The RPI for March will be used as the base measure for the following academic year's fees (for example, the change in RPIX between March 2023 and March 2024 will be the index applied to the 2024/25 academic year tuition fees in order to determine the 2025/26 academic year tuition fees
