Introduction

Escape Studios, formerly known as Pearson College London, was part of Pearson PLC, a FTSE 100 global education company. The College was established in 2012 to provide an education powered by industry experience. Its first courses were in Business, Accounting and Law. In 2013, the College acquired Escape Studios, which had provided training in animation, games and visual effects since 2002. At that point, the College split into two schools, Pearson Business School (Business, Accounting and Law programmes) and Escape Studios (Creative programmes). Both schools are united by the mantra, "designed, developed and delivered in partnership with industry". In 2023 the College came under new ownership and is now known as Escape Studios for both creative and business courses.

Business, Accounting and Law Courses

Over the 12 years they have taught Pearson Business School (PBS) courses they have focused on in-depth employer engagement, providing a real-world approach to teaching. Their students’ industry grounded education has been complemented by their Talent Development programme and regular assessed teamwork to boost employability skills. This ensures students graduate ready to collaborate, perform and lead in the workplace.

Their industry partners have included Pearson, LVMH, L'Oréal, Tesco, IBM, WPP, Enterprise Car Rental, Salesforce, AdamStart, Jellyfish Pictures and Unilever. They have helped shape course development and exposed their students to all levels of business and enterprise – global, SMEs, studios and startups – operating within environments from local to international.

Their talented alumni are making an impact in industries around the world. Recent graduates have gone on to work at Nestlé, Sainsbury’s, Dyson, Snapchat, Microsoft and the BBC and many have started their own successful businesses, including Kickpush, Jem's Bar, Build & Breathe Pilates and The List.
