The Department of Economics and Social Sciences (ESS), BRAC University invite you to the launch of this inaugural celebration.
The Department of Economics and Social Sciences, BRAC University and School of Economics, the University of Kent will be hosting an online inaugural ceremony titled “Launch Event of BRAC University-University of Kent Collaboration”.
This year, Kent signed a Memorandum of Agreement with BRAC University based in Dhaka, Bangladesh to allow for the co-supervision of students on Kent’s School of Economics’ MSc in Development Economics. BRAC, widely considered to be among the top private universities in Bangladesh in terms of academic excellence and prestige will also facilitate the assignment of placements for students in Bangladesh. The University is linked to the BRAC organisation, an international development organisation based in Bangladesh which is now one of the largest NGOs in the world, operating not only in Bangladesh but also in ten other countries in Africa and Asia.
Dr Andrey Launov, Director of Graduate Studies, School of Economics and Dr Zaki Wahhaj, Reader School of Economics will be speaking at the event.
The event will be streamed live on BRAC University’s official Facebook page on 30 November 2021; 7:00 pm (Bangladesh Standard Time).
