When most people think of maths, they think of maths in theory alone, but we don't and neither do you. Maths at Kent is dual focused, so as much as theory is important, we care about application. 128 tariff points from your IB Diploma, including Mathematics or Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches at 6 at HL, typically H5, H6, H6 or equivalent.
Pass the University of Kent International Foundation Programme.
The University will consider applicants holding T level qualifications in subjects closely aligned to the course.
A typical offer would be to obtain the Access to HE Diploma in a suitable subject with a minimum of 45 credits at Level 3, with 30 credits at Distinction and 15 credits at Merit.

Learn in a supportive and inclusive learning environment led by highly qualified academics at the forefront of mathematics and statistics. We employ a range of teaching methods including lectures, problem solving sessions, computing laboratories, and collaborative seminars, accommodating diverse learning needs.
For a student studying full time, each academic year of the programme will comprise 1200 learning hours which include both direct contact hours and private study hours. The precise breakdown of hours will be subject dependent and will vary according to modules.

A highlight of my placement was presenting my final piece of independent work – a deep dive into ‘what makes a globally successful TV series’.
