Hispanic Studies and Management BA (Hons)
The university has so many opportunities on offer so try them all out.
Everything is so accessible on the Canterbury campus, also the reviews from current students on my course were great.
The modules l enjoyed the most are human resources, and cultures of sustainability because l am interested in HR and l enjoyed learning about different systems of sustainability in different countries.
At the beginning, l found it difficult to adapt to online learning because having lessons in my room felt so unnatural, however as time went on l was able to work to a schedule and manage my time better.
l am going to be taking a year abroad in September. I will be studying in Bogota, Colombia for six months and Zaragoza, Spain for six months.
The facilities on campus are great, we have everything: cafés, private study areas, chill areas, restaurants, shops, and clubs as well. The campus is really an all-in-one place and l love it.
I think the social life really is dependent on how much you are willing to put yourself out there. Kent students are extremely friendly, so it is very easy to make friends, however, l would suggest that you throw yourself into everything and talk to everyone before you find your ‘clan’.
l hope to pursue career in digital marketing and content creation, language teaching and business coaching because these are things that l am extremely passionate about.
My advice is, try everything. The university has so many opportunities on offer so try them all out, you might discover a new passion along the way. Don’t limit yourself to just interests/opportunities related to your degree.
