- Clare Patterson
Clare Patterson started as a new PhD researcher September 2021. She is supervised by Dr Jason Nurse. She joins Kent, following a 25 year career in cyber security and IT. This work experience has led her to focus her PhD research in the area of the human aspects of cyber security. She completed her BSc in Management Science and Computer Science, and MSc in Information Security at Royal Holloway, University of London in the 1990s, and an Executive MBA at the University of Edinburgh and ENPC part-time in the noughties.
She loves adventure travel and has visited over 90 countries, at the weekend she enjoys walking or cycling in the Kent countryside.
