The Careers and Employability Service’s Empower brings together resources and expertise across the University of Kent and beyond, to support students from underrepresented backgrounds in developing confidence, identifying their skills, understanding recruitment processes and overcoming barriers to accessing work.
The programme offers a blend of career development and life skills opportunities, in order to make you ready for the world of work. The team will support you in identifying and vocalising your skills, and developing confidence.
You will receive 1-2-1 and group-based support to help reflect on the skills you are developing throughout your time at university, and get you ready to make career decisions, and apply for graduate jobs or further education.
