We’re proud of our wonderful, green, sustainably managed campuses - but our ambition doesn’t stop there. Your journey at Kent marks the start of our Diamond Anniversary. To celebrate we’re inviting you, the Class of 2025, to help us create our Diamond Garden.
What do we usually do on birthdays? We give gifts. The University of Kent celebrates its 60th birthday in 2025 and if you're about to start a three-year course you'll be graduating in what will be a very special year - our Diamond Anniversary.
Give a gift to each other, to future students, and the environment by getting involved with our Diamond Garden project. You'll help plan the space where over 300 fruit trees will be planted, watch the garden develop and grow, enjoy it while you're here and be part of its lasting legacy.
We're really excited about the Garden and we're planning a whole series of events for you to take part in. You're at the beginning of your journey, with many memories yet to make. Get started right now by booking your place on our very first events taking place in Welcome Week at Canterbury and Medway!
We look after each other and our campuses. Here's how we're making a difference to life on campus.
Meet your other neighbours!
Named as a nod to "My Family and Other Animals" the autobiography of Gerald Durrell, My Campus and Other Animals aims to introduce you to your fellow inhabitants on campus.
Kent has been awarded the gold Hedgehog Friendly Campus award.
We have been making lots of effort since we joined the Hedgehog Friendly Campus programme in July 2019 to ensure that our campus is a safe place for hedgehogs to live.
A place for everyone.
Grow sustainable food, learn new skills and enjoy some peace and quiet in this lovely spot on campus.
Creativity changes the world. Ask big questions and spark your imagination.
