Matthew Goldman holds a PhD from the University of Washington-Seattle and an MA from New York University. His teaching and research subjects include political psychology, political communication, international relations, Middle East politics, and US politics.
His academic career has taken him from his native US to the lowlands of Scandinavia and the shores of the Bosphorus, with teaching or research positions at NYU, NYU DC, George Washington University, the University of Washington-Tacoma, Lund University, and Boğaziçi University. In addition to his academic work, he has worked with civil society and political organizations, including the Nobel Peace Prize-nominated NGO Combatants for Peace and Democrats Abroad Belgium.
