Higher and Degree Level apprenticeships are developed by Kent, employers and professional bodies working in partnership.
These programmes combine practical work experience with tailored academic study, ensuring apprentices gain the most relevant skills and knowledge.
Apprentices are employed throughout the programme, spending approximately 20% of their time studying with the University and the rest with their employer.
The minimum duration of each apprenticeship is based on the apprentice working 30 hours a week, including any off-the-job training they undertake.
Programmes last from one to six years, depending on the level. To be eligible for an English Apprenticeship, candidates must spend 50% of their working time located in England.
Our programmes offer the opportunity to obtain a degree while working, combining earning and learning seamlessly.
Higher apprenticeships offer Level 4 qualifications or above, including NVQ Level 4, HND, or foundation degrees, and can progress to Level 7 (which is postgraduate degree level).
Degree apprenticeships allow students to earn a full Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
