Conservation at Kent is a community tied together by our need to understand the planet, and protect the species and cultures that reside within it.

Student societies

Anthropology Society

Run for students by students to foster enthusiasm for anthropology. Whether the society is hosting guest speakers, running diverse and inclusive socials, taking members on international trips or providing opportunities through events or sign-posting, the society has one specific aim: to leave you with a healthy love for the subject.

They recently launched Anthroview which contains interesting articles from staff and students.

Keep up-to-date with the society on Instagram and Facebook.

Conservation Society

A space for those interested in conservation to come together to socialise and discover new topics. They host both academically and socially-minded events throughout the year, with a popular annual event being the seal-watching trip.

Follow them on Instagram or on Facebook.

EcoGeog Society

For those interested in geographical and spatial thought, and in promoting an environmental sustainability agenda. They aim to have an Action Programme that will bolster local initiatives either from within Kent's societies or from outside charities.

Visit the Society's blog and follow them on Instagram.
