Nicole Bolick

University of Kent in Canada Alumni Association, Prospective Student Relations

Nicole graduated with her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Kent in 2020. She is now a lawyer in Ottawa, Ontario, with a focus in family law, estate administration, and estate planning, including the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney. She practices law in both French and English.

Prior to attending the University of Kent, Nicole graduated from Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Quebec, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Teaching English as a Second Language.

During her time at Kent, Nicole worked in the alumni office, with the main focus of forming and maintaining relationships with alumni on a global scale. Nicole also worked as the Moot and Mock Trial Coordinator for the law school, where she organized moot competitions and mock trials on a weekly basis for students in the law school. Further, in this role, Nicole acted as a mentor for students entering their first moots by providing them with tips and guidance to best succeed in their mooting experience. In addition, Nicole also volunteered at the law clinic at the University of Kent, assisting with employment law files.

Throughout her studies at Kent, Nicole took advantage of residing in England and travelled frequently throughout Europe and Africa. Residing centrally in Europe allowed for a plethora of experiences both in and outside of law school.
