Whatever accommodation you choose it’s just a short walk to lectures
I lived in Turing; and it was a lovely accommodation. There was a great view of Canterbury Cathedral from our kitchen window and the window in my room looked out on to a nice patch of greenery so I could watch the rabbits go past. It was peaceful and calming, I’d meet a few friends on the way and we’d walk together to lectures.
What advice would I give to new students? Be excited! This is a new chapter for you, so you should be ready to explore what being on campus is all about, as it may not be exactly what you expect. So be excited, and keep an open mind.
