The Esteem Lecture series, established to mark the University’s 50th anniversary year, was a series of prestigious lectures given by Kent academics.
The Esteem Lectures featured many diverse topics, such as royal diseases, fashion and the older woman, and the Christmas Truce in WWI. They were held at the University’s Canterbury campus, and were free to attend and open to all.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dame Julia Goodfellow was pleased to announce these inspiring open lectures, noting how they reflected the University’s broad academic appeal.
